Lily's 3 Month Portraits

Lily is almost 4 months old! Here are some of my favorites from her 3 month portrait session. She has rolled a few times from her belly to her back. She is VERY vocal. She loves that she can get us all laughing at her noises.

Lily is doing better at holding her head up when she is on her tummy. Grandma Barb's friend made Lily this cute quilt.

Lily is 3 months old!

Wow the first 3 months flew by! I can't believe how much Lily has changed. She is so vocal! She is always cooing and laughing and making any noise she can. She is so smiley.

My favorite time of day is in the morning when she first wakes up after sleeping all night. She isn't crying for that first feeding of the day, instead she just chatters and smiles at me. My other favorite time of day is when Robbie gets home from work... She hears him talking and instantly starts looking for him. She has a very serious face as she quickly moves her head back and forth looking for him. As soon as he comes close enough for her to see him she breaks out in to a huge smile and gets so excited.

She just learned a weird gurgling noise. I think she is very proud of it. Whenever she did it at first it kind of freaked me out. I think she really likes getting a reaction out of me already! Lily is now obsessed with putting her hands in her mouth, but isn't a thumb sucker yet (Eli was already at this age).

Eli is amazing. He is such a great helper and loves to entertain Lily. He loves that he can get her to smile and laugh so easily.

Lily is doing great. She is definitely growing! She is up to 9 lbs 11 oz.

Lily is sleeping though the night

Lily has been sleeping through the night for a week. She is such a great baby! She is very alert and is smiling and cooing. She doesn't sleep to much during the day. She takes short cat naps unless she is in the sling.

Eli's 4 year Portraits

Here are some of my favorites from Eli's 4 year portrait session. I took these awhile ago but finally had a chance to post them here. Eli wasn't all that cooperative at first, but when I asked him to show me some poses he started to ham it up. And his ideas we really cute!

Eli Starts 4K

Eli started his new school last Monday. He is really liking going to 4K. 4K is a school district program offered through the local preschools. Basically kindergarten for 4 year olds. He goes 5 days a week for 2h 45m. At age 5 kindergarten is full day so it is a good program to get them ready.

Lily is gaining

Lily has finally regained her birth weight plus a few ounces! To bad it took a whole month to get her there! I brought Lily in for her weekly weight check last week and she is up to 7 lbs 8 oz (7 lbs 5 oz at birth). We have been given the ok to wait until Lily is 2 months to bring her back to the Doc. Strange to think we will be waiting an entire month before having her checked again.
